You already know this week will bring:

How you show up in a tense meeting determines whether it becomes alignment or the opposite.

How your team members respond under pressure determines whether their delivery speed.

These patterns are invisible until you measure them. Once you see them, they can be changed — and that is when leadership feels possible again.

You were promoted to lead.
Now you spend your days putting out fires.

The Energy Leadership Index Assessment helps team leads and middle managers shift from constant firefighting to real leadership — so your team performs, and you get your time back.

THE CHALLENGE

WHY THIS IS HAPPENING

• 3 unnecessary meetings
• 1 mediation within your team
• 1 escalation from above to absorb

Total cost to your free time = at least six hours AND
Zero time for the strategic work for which you were actually hired.

True leadership?
More like buffering between an overwhelmed team and impatient executives — all without proper training.
YOU ARE NOT FAILING.
You are running a system that was never designed for the speed, complexity, and AI-driven change you face today.

The real problem is not skill; it is ENERGY.

Step 1: Individual ELI Assessment
Each team member completes a confidential online assessment in 20 minutes. They receive a personal report showing how they show up at their best and their worst.

Step 2: Confidential 1:1 Debrief
A 90-minute coaching session per person to unpack the results in a safe space. People share more
in 90 minutes here than during three of their annual reviews. CV to confirm last statement

Step 3: The Workshop
A full-day session where your team builds a shared language for the patterns that have quietly cost you. We end with specific agreements, not abstract takeaways.

A structured 3-step process designed for team leads who need results and a workshop that ends with real building blocks that lead your team straight to work on solving their core problems

  • Typical engagement: 4–8 weeks, online or onsite
  • Designed to fit around real workloads wherever you are!

The Path to Lasting Team Performance

Interesting and what's the total time invest?

Satya Nadella, CEO Microsoft

The energy you create around you is perhaps going to be the most important attribute - in the long run, EQ trumps IQ. Without being a source of energy for others, very little can be accomplished.

Meet Christina Vaal,
your mentor and coach

With more than 20 years of leadership experience across Microsoft, HP, Infineon Technologies, and Accenture in Europe and Asia, I understand the realities middle managers face every day. At Microsoft Germany, I led teams with 13 direct reports and responsibility for a €500M+ sales target—while managing the same pressure, pace, and constant demands many leaders experience today.

Over the past five years, I have coached more than 100 leaders and teams using science-backed tools to improve leadership effectiveness, team performance, and resilience. As an iPEC Coaching ICF-accredited coach with studies in Positive Psychology at University of California, Berkeley, I use the ELI Assessment to help leaders quickly identify the patterns affecting communication, engagement, and performance—so they can lead with greater clarity, focus, and impact.

Hi, I am Christina.

I spent 20 years in your seat. Then I trained to do something about it. Today, I guide leaders and their teams to excellence.

The ELI Journey: 3 Layers Deep

03 Lasting Change

01 Clarity

Low engagement often shows up as unclear expectations, inconsistent feedback, and misalignment between leadership intent and team experience. Managers are expected to drive performance, yet many spend their time addressing symptoms—missed expectations, repeated misunderstandings, and uneven execution—without clear visibility into what is driving them.

The Energy Leadership Index (ELI) Assessment introduces clarity at a deeper level by revealing how individuals perceive and respond to everyday situations. Instead of focusing solely on behavior, it uncovers the energetic patterns behind decision-making, communication, and reactions under pressure.

Organizations are asking managers to lead continuous transformation—whether through digitalization, AI adoption, or new ways of working—often without the necessary time, support, or behavioral change infrastructure. This results in change fatigue, inconsistent adoption, and initiatives that fail to translate into sustained impact at the team level.

The ELI Assessment supports lasting change by going beyond surface-level interventions and addressing the underlying patterns that drive behavior over time. Through the combination of assessment insights, guided debrief sessions and workshops , individuals gain practical tools to shift how they respond to challenges, communicate, and lead. Because these changes are rooted in deeper awareness and clarity.

02 Awareness

A common workplace challenge is the gap between leadership intent and employee experience. Managers may believe communication and change efforts are clear, while teams experience uncertainty, lack of support, or disengagement—creating friction that often goes unnoticed in daily operations.

The ELI Assessment builds awareness by making invisible team dynamics visible. It shows how individuals respond under stress and how those patterns affect communication, trust, and collaboration—helping managers better understand what is happening within their teams and why.

Your team will be able to:
• Recognize their own energy patterns inreal time — and shift them before they damage a
meeting or a relationship
• Have direct conversations without conflict escalating
• Stop absorbing other people's stress as their own workload
• Make decisions faster because the unspoken dynamics are now spoken
• Protect their focus in an environment full of distractions, AI overload, and competing priorities

You will be able to:
• Spend less time managing personalities and more time leading
• See conflicts coming before they cost you a week
• Have a team that owns problems instead of escalating them to you

What your team will learn:

I took the Energy Leadership Assessment and actually often think about the different energy levels; I find them to be a very helpful framework for reflecting on my approach to new problems and challenges.

Marlene Ronstedt, COO, Data Union DAO, San Francisco

You are COMMITTED. You are ready to lead with energy. Your team is ready and committed as well.

We need you to be fully committed to YOUR success; a "whatever it takes" mindset rather than "if it’s convenient, maybe I’ll show up.

You are RESOURCEFUL. You will find a way to participate fully no matter what, and you’re ready to take bold uncomfortable action.

You are COACHABLE. Our clients are smart enough to know that what they have tried up until now has not worked. They are ready to empty their cup and follow a proven process. They TRUST that we have the solution.

You BELIEVE in breakthroughs, not in tolerating the status quo.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long until we see results?
Most teams report noticeable shifts in communication within 2–4 weeks. The bigger changes — fewer escalations, faster decisions, less burnout — become measurable at the 3-month mark.

My team is already overloaded.
Will this add more work? The assessment takes 20 minutes per
person. The 1:1 debriefs are scheduled around their workload. The workshop is half a day or one day.

Is this GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Individual results stay confidential between each person and the coach —
you, as the team lead, never see their personal results.

Do I have to take part myself?
Yes. The workshop only works when you participate as part of the team. Role modeling is an opportunity to demonstrate to your team how to show up for this experience.

What if my team is fully remote?
Most of my engagements run online or hybrid. The format adapts to
your reality.

What if my manager/ HR doesn't approve the budget?
The strategy call is free and includes practical help
building the internal case. If the answer is still no, you walk away with clarity on your team's situation — at
zero cost.
